EarthOptics’s website really grabbed me with this one: “We are building the Soil Cloud”. EarthOptics is an AgTech company that uses proprietary sensor technology to precisely measure the health and structure of your soil. All that data is uploaded up into SoilCloud. The SoilCloud has tons of applications, one of the more interesting ones is they can measure the carbon footprint of an acre of land, which ties into the growing number of GreenTech companies in the Triangle.
